Star Charger II

Did a little bit of primer and paint work on the Star Charger II - Intergalactic Muscle space car today (part of my series). This one was put on the back burner during all the months I was editing my film Rat Rod Rockers! These pics are from my crap cell phone camera so they are a bit blurry. The new base color is a shade of sandstone. I may go metallic yellow with the final coat, still haven't decided.

Happy New Year!

Man...2010 flew by! Don't know if it's because I am getting older, or it was just an anomaly. Many of my friends said the same thing- but most of them are also in their late thirties and early forties  like myself. It was an interesting year, up and down, good and bad. Almost felt like a test for things to come? I finished my second feature film and watched our Arts School grow a little bit. Alot to be thankful for- somethings to be hopeful for. Resolutions for 2011: Lose 20 pounds (i.e. exercise more), spend more time with my family, start my next film- Evil Undead Girlfiend, publish Munster Style, get my '66 Dodge Charger finished, promote the hell out of Rat Rod Rockers! and start a new band.

New Years Eve at EMP/SFM

Galactica Model Detail

The family and I spent the afternoon at Experience Music Project/ Science Fiction Museum. Being huge Battlestar Galactica fans- we wanted to see the new exhibit. It was very cool with full size Vipers and Cylon Raiders as well as costumes, multimedia clips and props from both versions of the TV Show. We had already spent a full day a few months ago in the EMP/SFM so after the BSG exhibit we watched some Jimi Hendrix films in the theater and then headed over to Third Place Books for a late Espresso. Now we're ready for 2011.
