Hot Rod Girls Save The World Special Features Clips

Added three new video clips to the Go-Kustom You Tube Page. These will all be part of the Hot Rod Girls Save The World (Alternative Ending) Special features Disc.

Demonos Car Club Segment
Hot Rod Girls Save The World - Deleted Scene 4A
Hot Rod Girls Save The World - Deleted Scene 3A
It's finally cooling off in Seattle. Also had a few epiphanies about the Rat Rod Rockers! screenplay. I am trying to limit my creative focus to Rat Rod Rockers! and the updated Hot Rod Girls Save The World DVD.

The Demonos Made Me Do It!

So it looks like we broke a record yesterday in Seattle's continuing heat wave. 103 Degrees! I was able to cool my studio off enough to work in with fans and a small AC Unit, but not until after 10PM. The family and I took big buckets and filled them with water to soak our feet and arms. relaxing and cooled us off until the sun went down. Cooked some Veggie Hot Dogs on the BBQ and watched as a helicopter hovered over our house for ten minutes. I waved and offered a Veggie Dog (pointing at plate and smiling). The helicopter (a King 5 News Chopper) just flew off. Maybe next time guys. Hot Dogs are mighty yummy on a hella hot day. Completed the Demonos Car Club segment for the new Hot Rod Girls Save The World Special Features DVD. After that I didn't get much sleep. Tossed and turned until 3AM. Supposed to be a little cooler today. I hope.

Seattle- Hot Hot Hot!

Didn't get much editing done on the Demonos clip, because my garage A/V Studio was so damn hot. Had the little window AC unit going but to no avail. I started getting a headache and feeling nauseous so I called it quits. I'm running a fan with my AC today to see if that helps, but it's supposed to hit 100 degrees. Now all you So Cal people may thing thats not so hot, but we don't have all the AC equipment in our homes up here. It is unusual weather. Global warming...who knows.

Had an idea to get a little wading pool yesterday and cool off in the back yard, but Costco and Big 5 were completely sold out!

Demonos Car Club Segment For HRGSTW Special Features Disc

Been slowly editing (off and on- in the heat of my sweltering garage studio) the last few days a Special Features disc for the new Alternative Ending version of Hot Rod Girls Save The World- due out fall 2009 on Go-Kustom. The current segment I've been hacking at is of The Demonos Car Club from Tacoma, WA. They were featured prominently in the "Party Scene" in Hot Rod Girls Save The World. We had done some quick interviews for Go-Kustom TV, but the audio was bad.

Too Much Twitter

I am getting addicted to twitter. Must...start...blogging...again. Spent the whole day dropping flyers for the Hot Rod Monsters Film Festival. I love driving around Seattle. Places I went- American Music (Fremont), Woodland Park Zoo (to say hi to the wife), Rudy's Barbershop (Greenwood), Art/Not Terminal (Downtown), Jones Soda HQ. (they are in Hot Rod Girls Save The World), Caffe Vita (Capital Hill), Mercedes Dealership (Capital Hill- my son saw a Ferrari in the window), Taco del Mar (Greenwood), 911 Media Arts (to drop materials) and the Liquor Store (Greenwood) to get a Banquet License to sell beer at the festival. BTW my Twitter address is http://twitter.com/gokustom

1967 Dodge Coronet Roadster Concept Poster

Spent an afternoon creating a "phantom" concept car. Being a huge 66-67 Dodge Charger & Coronet fan and using Photoshop, I grafted a 1964 Dodge Charger Concept Roadster headrest onto a 1967 Dodge Coronet pic. Then I proceeded to remove the bumpers, colorize and filter the concept until it is what you now see. I made a 23 x 35 poster available on my Cafe Press pages.http://www.cafepress.com/gokustom.396763652
