Boss DD-7 Pedal

Just picked up a Boss DD-7 Digital Delay pedal to add to the Hellcat VI effects arsenal. Cool little stomp box with lush delays and basic looper functions. Not as extensive as many of the "looper" pedals, but Iw anted this for one of the signal chains for direct recording. Boss gear is always a good investment.

Fender Mustang Floor Effects Pedal

Ordered a Fender Mustang Floor effects pedal to run my Hellcat VI through. This thing emulates the older Fender amps very accurately and this will be a great addition to my Line 6 Bass POD XT Live that I use for the lower end of my Hellcat sound. Right now I am splitting my Bass/Baritone's signal into two channels and running one side through the Bass POD and the other through a Boss FDR-1 and Boss FRV-1. I will add the Mustang before the other two Boss pedals and eventually end the chain with a Lexicon MX200 (for final reverb). This should give me the flexibility to get any bass or guitar types sound my little heart desires.

Old Gear

I bought the KMS-30 and DDM-220 new back in 1984. I found the
Boss DR-55 in an Atlanta music store in 1987. Talked the guy
down from $60 to $40.
Yamaha CS1x- a very cool synth for the time. Nice fat sounds.
Selling old gear is becoming an addiction for me! I found a cat who collects old analog drum machines and synths and he has bought this batch of kit from me, Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-55, Korg KMS-30 MIDI/DIN/TAPE SyncBox (very rare), Korg DDM-220 and my Yamaha CS1x synth. Since I have moved completely to Reason 6.5 as my main recording setup (and before when I was using Cubase VST5 and Reason 4 on my G4 tower) I seldom even turned on the Yamaha nor un-boxed any of my old drum machines. After this last move, I realized how many boxes of stuff I had that...well...sat in boxes. I am going through a purging stage, trying to skinny up my life. Too much crap...now not as much. :)

Boss RC-3 Loop Station

Just took delivery of a Boss RC-3 Loop Station. Did a three part credit payment plan with Sweetwater Music so it didn't sting the pocketbook much at all. Really looking into alternative ways to create loops, rather than the old sampling discs and libraries created by third parties. Hooked it up to my "The Board" home made percussion instrument and was instantly making Tom Wait's - Bone Machine era percussion loops. The coolest thing about this pedal is it has three hours internal recording and a USB port to dump your creations into your PC or Mac for further use. Been wanting one of these for the last year. Many possibilities.
