New Tattoo

Went to my man Matt Sawdon at Sunken Ship Tattoo in Everett, WA to cash out a gift certificate my family gave me for my birthday (last February) for a new tattoo. Got a 1960s era Dodge logo in red with black outline. Now when I flip my arms over I have "Dodge Charger" from arm to arm. Mopar or No Car Mofos!

A-100 Van Body

Got this excellent cast resin Dodge A-100 Van Body from Jimmy Flinstone Studios. The body is used with the Lindburg Little Red Wagon kit. I was gonna make a Go-Kustom van like the one Chris Jones drew for the our Go-Kustom shirts and Hot Rod Monsters Film Festival promo years ago. I used to own an A-100 Van.

Little Red Wagon and My A-100

My '66 A-100 Sportsman.

This model of Bill Maverick Golden's Little Red Wagon came in the P.O. Box today. Always loved the old Dodge A-100 vans and pick-ups. I owned a 1966 Sportsman Van for a year (see pics on right), before deciding it wasn't a project I could tackle at the time. Bought it from my neighbor for $500. Sold it to a guy that was building a Little Red Wagon clone and wanted an A-100 Van as the push truck for $500. He came out from the mid-west with a trailer and towed it off to greener pastures.

Rammunition!

Just got this 1/24th scale Dodge Rammunition model kit made by Lindberg in the mail. I am gonna kit bash it into a Road Warriors looking rig for a reference scene in Rats & Gassers: Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride. I'll be damned if I am gonna pay $1,000 for one 10 second movie still from Road Warrior or Beyond The Thunder Dome. So I am gonna make my own Mad Max "inspired" truck to make the point.

Hemi Charger Concept Sold AT RM Auctions

According to Muscle Car Revue one of my favorite concept cars of all time, the 1964 Dodge Hemi Charger Concept (based on the 1964 Dodge Polara and the first car to wear the "Charger" nameplate) was sold at RM Auctions for $715,000! I love the big Dodge roadster concept cars of the '60s and 70's. They make absolutely no sense at all- but look cool as hell!
