New Poster Ideas

Working up some possible poster print ideas from outtakes of the shoot I did with Lisa Leopard for Ol' Skool Rodz (and my film Rats & Gassers).

Mr. Nasty

Went out to Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. yesterday to take some action pics of Big Tom McDonald's "Mr. Nasty" Henry J Gasser for a magazine article I am writing. The weather was excellent and the track was busy with drivers storming down the 8th mile track. This is the same locale we filmed the drag race scenes of the '55 Chevy racing the '56 T-Bird for Rat Rod Rockers! 

Big T's Henry J Gasser With Jean Viva

I am going through the massive amounts of stills, pics and video footage for Rats & Gassers: Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride. Came across these from last years shoot with Big T and Carla McDonald's Henry J Gasser (model Jean Viva), which is a great build. Big T has massive knowledge as a builder and put this bad boy together in a matter of months. When I interviewed him in late 2011 the Henry J was still in pieces (you can see it behind him during the interview) and by mid-2012 he was racing it!

Did a quick series of clips from the Billetproof Eruption Drags for as a Rats & Gassers:Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride Preview. 

New Rats & Gasser Poster

Made a new Rats & Gassers: Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride movie poster (35x23 inches big) with Big Tom and Carla's "Mr. Nasty" Henry J Gasser and model Jean Viva. The series is growing. Eventually I wan to have dozens of large posters available for the film. The posters are available on Cafe Press. 

Rats & Gassers Filming

Went up to Lake Cassidy (north of Seattle) to film for Rats & Gassers: Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride featuring model Jean Viva and Big Tom and Carla's insane "Mr. Nasty" big block Ford powered Henry J. This was a pick-up set I did last minute for the film. Since I have multiple shots of Mr. Nasty (in the background during Big Tom's interview and racing at the Eruption Drags last summer in rust and primer) I thought it would be nice to include some footage of the finished car. Man it was chilly, but thankfully clear.  

Rats & Gassers Editing

Did a little editing on Rats & Gassers: Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride. Broke the overall timeline into interview segments for ease of editing. Now each segment has a title and it's own timeline. Man I love Final Cut Pro! This section I posted still from is with Fabricator and Drag Racer, Big Tom McDonald. 

Rats & Gassers Fifth Day Of Shooting

Interviewed Big Tom McDonald today out at his shop for my Rats & Gassers documentary. Big T's 1956 T-Bird Gasser was featured prominently in Rat Rod Rockers! This was the fifth day of filming (including the shoot at Infestation IV Car Show) for this doc. Big T had several project cars he let us film, including his new Henry J Gasser and his older 1970 Mach I Mustang with a '69 fiberglass tilt front end.
